LISA BARNETT VAN DIEN is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Department. Her practice areas include: commercial and residential real estate; real estate development; community association documentation and condominium, timeshare and fractional ownership documentation; commercial leasing; lender and borrower representation; construction contracts and lien law; and marinas and water rights. Ms. Van Dien is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University in 1991, and she graduated magna cum laudefrom the University of Richmond College of Law in 1996 where she was the class salutatorian. At the University of Richmond, she was a member of the Law Review and the McNeill Law Honor Society. Ms. Van Dien was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1996 and the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida in 1997, and is Board Certified as a Real Estate Lawyer by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. Ms. Van Dien currently serves on the Real Estate Board Certification Committee of The Florida Bar, and the Twentieth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Ms. Van Dien also sits on the founding Board of Directors of the Children’s Museum of Naples and is a member of the Junior Achievement Hall of Fame Advisory Board. She is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Collier County Bar Association, the Board of Directors of the Collier County Women's Bar Association, and past Chair of the Real Estate Section of the Collier County Bar Association. |
