CLAY C. BROOKER received a Bachelor of Arts degree in politics at Princeton University in 1991, after which he attended the University of Florida College of Law and graduated with honors (J.D., 1994).

Prior to joining Cheffy Passidomo, he was associated with Jones, Foster, Johnston & Stubbs in West Palm Beach, Florida, where his law practice included commercial litigation, eminent domain and local government representation.

Upon moving to Naples in 2000, he associated with Young, van Assenderp, Varnadoe & Anderson, continuing his practice in commercial litigation and expanding into land use law. Today, with Cheffy Passidomo, Mr. Brooker concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and land use law. His experience includes contract disputes, landlord/tenant matters, development approval processes, challenging local government land use decisions and protecting private property rights through inverse condemnation and Bert Harris Act claims.

Mr. Brooker is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association and the Collier County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Mr. Brooker is a member of Collier County’s Development Services Advisory Committee which advises the Board of County Commissioners on land use regulation issues. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Princeton Club of Southwest Florida, interviewing area high school students for admission into Princeton University.
