LOUIS D. D’AGOSTINO has practiced law in Collier County since 1988.  Mr. D’Agostino graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1983 and obtained his law degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1988, graduating summa cum laude and earning the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.   While at Nova, Mr. D'Agostino was editor of the Nova Law Review and authored an article titled Recusal of Judges for Reasons of Bias or Prejudice: A Survey of Florida Law -- Proposal for Reform, 11 Nova Law Review 201 (1986). 

From 1988 through April 1997, Mr. D’Agostino practiced with Quarles & Brady, a national law firm based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with offices in Florida, Arizona and Chicago, Illinois.  In 1997, Mr. D’Agostino joined Cheffy Passidomo as a shareholder and principal of the firm.  In that same year, he became the first lawyer in Collier County to be certified in Appellate Practice by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education, and he was re-certified in Appellate Practice in 2002 and 2007. 

Mr. D’Agostino is a member of The Florida Bar, Collier County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and he is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.  He served as Director and Officer of the Collier County Bar Association (1996-2005).  Mr. D’Agostino served as President of the Collier County Bar Association (2003-2004), and he also served as a director (1992-1996) and past President (1997-1998) of the Collier County Trial Lawyers Section. 

He was also a member of Grievance Committee 20B (2001-2003), which is responsible for lawyer disciplinary matters and ethical issues for Florida’s Twentieth Judicial Circuit.  In 2008, Mr. D’Agostino was selected for inclusion in “Florida Super Lawyers.”  Only five percent of lawyers in the State are named to this list which is based on a statewide nomination process, review of resumes and peer evaluation.  Mr. D’Agostino practices primarily in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, and appeals.
