JOHN M. PASSIDOMO has practiced law in Collier County since 1979. From 1985 through 1993, he was partner in charge of Florida real estate matters for Frost & Jacobs. He is board certified as a specialist in Real Estate Law by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education and is a former President of the Collier County Bar Association and a former Chairman of its Real Estate Attorneys’ Section. Mr. Passidomo served as Vice Mayor of the City of Naples and as a member of the Naples City Council from 1990 to 1992, and as Chairman and as a member of the Naples Planning Advisory Board from 1986 to 1990. He was recognized as the 1985 and 1991 recipient of The Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award for leadership in providing pro bono legal services to the poor. He received his B.A. in Philosophy with honors from Boston College and his law degree from Stetson University College of Law. Mr. Passidomo served as Chairman of the Community Foundation of Collier County from 1998 to 2001 and as Chairman of the Economic Development Council of Collier County from 1995 to 1997. In 2000, he was recognized as the Outstanding Collier County Citizen by the Naples Daily News. In 2003, he and Ed Cheffy were selected as laureates in the Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida Business Leadership Hall of Fame. He is listed in the 2007 editions of The Best Lawyers in America and Florida Super Lawyers. The cases he handles include real estate development, transactions and finance, commercial leasing, zoning and land use matters which require experience, tenacity and political sensitivity, and business transactions.
