ANDREW H. REISS Mr. Reiss graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991 with a degree in Political Science and History.  Prior to attending law school, Mr. Reiss taught English at a private independent school in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. 

He graduated with his law degree magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 1997.  During law school, Mr. Reiss served as an Articles & Comments Editor for the Inter-American Law Review, the School of Law’s international law journal.  Mr. Reiss’s article, titled The Impact of Nahar v. Nahar on Comity in Florida, was published in the Fall 1995 edition of that journal. 

Mr. Reiss was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1997, the bar of United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 1998, and the bar of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in 2004.  From 1999 to 2007, Mr. Reiss served on the Florida Bar’s Student Education and Admissions to the Bar Committee, which advises the Florida Bar’s Board of Governors on legal education issues. 

Mr. Reiss is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, a national organization dedicated to human resource and employment issues.  Locally, Mr. Reiss serves as a member of the Library Advisory Board, which advises the Collier County Board of Commissioners regarding the Collier County Public Library system. He was also recently appointed to serve on one of the Florida Bar’s Grievance Committees for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit.
