Trusts and Estates
Working with individuals and their families to preserve, manage and transfer assets, the firm’s Trusts and Estates attorneys seek to create comprehensive estate plans tailored to meet the overall goals of each client. Estate plans developed by the firm may involve not only Wills and Trusts but the creation of corporations, partnerships, offshore entities or charitable foundations, as well as changes of domicile, depending on the particular circumstances of each client.
In addition to planning for the transfer of assets at death, the Trusts and Estates attorneys also seek to develop strategies for preserving clients’ assets and minimizing taxes throughout their lives. The firm takes a special interest in planning for unique circumstances of a family, such as closely held businesses or incapacitated children or other loved ones. Four of the firm’s lawyers are Board Certified by The Florida Bar as specialists in Wills, Trusts and Estates.
